About us
The Hoogly Tea Lodge is the latest chapter for our independent tea company. Situated just off Preston park, Brighton, we are the perfect place to come for a hot drink or a bite to eat with friends, family or just on your own.
Our name, Hoogly, is derived from the Nordic word ‘hygge’. More of a feeling than a word really; comfort, coziness, warmth and well-being, which we hope we have captured in our Tea Lodge. Our aim is to create an atmosphere that can be enjoyed by everyone.
We use high quality ingredients from local artisans (And of-course our own teas!), and whether you want an afternoon tea, a toastie, or just a cup of coffee, Hoogly is the place to be.
We are dog-friendly, have a baby changing room and offer a fantastic range of vegan and gluten free options.

Named after Kaldi, the first farmer to discover the magical powers of the coffee bean, Gold Goat honours the history of coffee through its simple but uncompromising approach to flavour.
Available to purchase in 227g bags in the Lodge.

All of our ingredients are ethically sourced and produced locally. We prioritise quality and sustainability when attaining ingredients, and when possible source from recognised producers to ensure respectable awareness of environmental impact.
